L’Arrière Scène – Theatre for Young Audiences has the mission to produce and present creative works in Quebec, Canada, and abroad. Additionally, it hosts and showcases performances at the Beloeil Cultural Center aimed at audiences of early childhood, youth, and adolescence.

Since its inception in 1976, the company has prioritized metaphor and poetry in its creations. Off the beaten path, it offers environments where various artistic languages unite. Combining images, gestures, and words, L’Arrière Scène's creations present worlds that evoke emotional engagement and cultivate a love for live arts.

Samsara Théâtre creates and produces artistic works that follow the constant flow of life in all its rhythmic variations, colors, and sensations. From early childhood to adulthood, including the turbulence of adolescence, its stories provide audiences with unique immersive experiences, at the heart of theatrical universes rich in meaning. The encounter with art here initiates dialogue, broadens horizons of thought, and bridges the distances we may maintain between one another.

The artistic vision of its creators—who are both performers, writers, and passionate directors of contemporary stage writing—has guided Samsara's shows since 2009, from the West to the East. This vision is nourished by an inventiveness and approach deeply rooted in research and mediation. Inspired by both their audiences and numerous collaborators, the creators continue their cultural endeavors, allowing themselves to be transformed by art as well.
